First time in Glasgow (and Scotland) for the band and hopefully they will get back over here for a proper tour sometime soon. Good to see they didn’t stick to a rigid setlist for the Progressive Nation 2009 tour. Also on the bill were Unexpect (1st on), Opeth and Dream Theater.
The last two songs were described as “the Money Medley”, but I have tracked each one. I left the recording running a little at the end, while the band were leaving the stage and taking some video of the crowd. Less than a minute, so didn’t split it as a track.
Went straight out and bought Hex and Cheat The Gallows – great albums.
Recording notes and sound quality:
Being the SECC (large concrete hangar), the sound was less than perfect, however, the recording sounds not too bad after a little eq to reduce the bass. Not too much chat from the crowd either.
Please support the band by buying their albums, merch, and by going to see them live. They deserve your cash.
Do NOT sell this recording, trade FREELY!
